Mining excavation C is an activity of exploration, exploitation, processing and refining, transporting, and selling of class C excavated materials in the form of sand and stone. Mining sand and shone should have a significant contribution to regional income, but in the illegal mining is not included in the regional income budget. There are several illegal mining points in Bandar Subdistrict, including excavation C in Buntit Hamlet, Tumbrep Village and in Dukuh Candi Desa Candi. Thoseexcavation has a negative impact that is difficult to control because of its unknown existence. The author is interested in studying it by raising the issue "How is the Ecological Impact of Illegal C Mining in the Bandar sub-district Batang district"

This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Using interview observation and documentation techniques. The study was conducted in Tumbrep Village and Candi Village. The time of the study is from September 29, 2018 to October 16, 2018.

From the research carried out a finding or the fact that the excavation of C mining has a negative impact on the condition of water and soil, especially in illegal C mining without reclamation.

From this study the authors suggest that the government curb the business made by the society, so that the business is accommodated into a business that can be economically profitable but does not harm the environment.
